Dinner.

Supper is what stupid old people say instead of saying lunch.
I’ve never heard of supper referring to the mid day meal. Always the evening meal. I call the mid day meal either lunch or dinner, whichever one comes out at the time

It’s what the old farmers here say.

“You ready for supper?”

Fuck no, it’s 11:45!

That has to be a regional thing. Down here, dinner is commonly used for either lunch or the evening meal, but supper is only used in reference to the evening meal

What time of day was The Last Supper supposedly held?

Call it whatever the hell youse guise want to call it, just don't call me late for it.

And it's dinner, ya jabronies.

You’re prolly right.

I always thought maybe tDepression factored in. A little bit to eat in the morning, then another big meal and that’s about all you got.

Seems like Bobcat used to be that way with skid steers, but now everyone calls them skid steers and you rarely see the Bobcat brand of them around here anymore. All Cat and Case
Bobcat still gets cred here. But a lot of Bobcats are actually Bobcats.

Plus, e’rybody calls skids pallets.

Think it's more of a farmer deal, TBH. My mom grew up on a farm, usually called the late meal supper. Just about everyone outside of my mom's family calls it dinner.
