No shit. We went to NYC a few weeks back and it was substantially colder. And we just went with it.

This morning I was freezing my ass off. All damn morning.

Too much time in nice, comfortable weather will make you soft. A week or two in the freezing cold might even be good for them.

Plus, slipping and falling on your ass builds character en sech. :nod:

Been there. Denver a few years ago. Decided it was wise to jump from snow covered lawn to innocent looking sidewalk….covered in ice.

Did a split and smashed me knee right in front of my kid who is like me and doesn’t let shit like this go. Ever.

Very character building….
 
Have been down there during a hard freeze.


Nastiest beach I’ve ever seen was Sanibel about a week later.
