GAME TCU at Colorado [10pm EST] on ESPN

Just curious, is there a story out there about Colorado's downfall similar to Tennessee, Nebraska, etc. You hear a lot about other programs and sure Colorado isn't a power program but they were a competitive program and the last 15-20 years, they have been absolutely terrible with the exception of that one year they won the Pac12 South.
No.

UT won a national Championship and were always up 10 for decades.

Nebraska won Championships and was considered a true blue blood program.

Colorado had some good teams, but can only claim their one NC and I think even that one has a ton of controversy about it. Difference really is that they didn't consistently have elite teams, just the odd player and team here and there.

They were pretty good from 1980s-2001. Most of the time winning 8-9 games or more. They weren't terrible like they are now.

No, but they never reached that level than Nebraska or UT has.

Nebraska is still the greatest fall from grace I've seen. It's just gotten pitiful now.

UT has had some good teams, but nothing like they had from Fulmer.

Colorado just never seemed to be on those levels ever. Maybe it's just me and my experience though.

Miami is pretty even to Nebraska as well. I have a hard time putting FSU on the list because they won a title in 2014 but they are another.

Colorado was a decent program, far better than now. Sure they were not blue blood but it is curious to understand why they are so bad.

Another program that has also collapsed hard is Georgia Tech.

Congrats to the froggies. Closest team to me geographically and one of my nieces went there. Will know more in a few weeks, but they seem to be getting better.

Yeah we need the Utes to get the win. Oregon and Utah winning against SEC teams in SEC land? Ohhhhhhhhhhhh damn!
