Long story short, technology can be fucking bad ass or or it can just be fucking bad.

2024 jeep grand cherokee L with straight up 12k on the clock. Kid moves it like 10 feet to get his car out and it won't shut off. Ran for 3 hours in the driveway.

All the electronic keyless ignition gave me the middle finger. Was acting like it wasn't on. Yet it was on. Windows wouldn't roll. Rear hatch wouldn't work. Could not put in gear.

Two vehicles showed up to tow it. One was more of a technical guy. They pulled the relay (under seat) to get it to turn off.

Off to a dealership on a Saturday for them to say well.... we ain't got nobody till monday....

I have a jeep for 5 years with zero issues except for the flex pipe.

The Pacifica my mom and dad have had for 6ish years, no issues. The ram truck.....

This is a software issue of some sort, I believe. Any vehicle can have that. The gmc problem was a known issue that you were just fucked. They didn't pay shit.
 
My nephew's 2024 GMC truck would suddenly quit on him....all electrical would shut down. Then he would smell something burning and saw smoke rising from under the seat.

They supposedly did something to it and told him it was ready for him to come get. He drove about half a mile and it did it all again.

They drug it back to dealership again. Once again they did something to it after having it for several days, and then called him to come get it. This time he never made it out the parking lot.

The service tech parked it running in front of service center while he was inside doing paper work for warranty. Someone came into the service area lobby and said..."Hey there is some smoke coming out the truck out there running! ".

Finally after having the truck for 30 days, and 3 separate incidences of the same nature...they discovered the wiring harness going through the firewall had a frayed wire that would sometimes ground itself causing a short.

He has the truck back now for a month or so and it seems to run fine but he hates it now.

I cant keep count of the stories I've heard from family and friends about the problems they've encountered with various Jeep models over the last 20+ years. Sorry, they're dogshit

Go to Google. Type in your favorite vehicle. Then type in problems. They all got em. Like I said, only real issue I have had with Chrysler products and I been with them for 30 plus years. I have also had others. Wife loved the ford, it was junk. It had a sunroof so...

I drive other cars. I bought mine 5yrs ago and wife's early part of this year. Was going to get an acadia instead of the jeep for wife. Jeep rode nicer. BTW, traded in an acadia. And I traded in a buick for mine. Not a cult. And no fucking ducks.

My Jeep is full of ducks. Probably got 20+ of them on the dashboard.
