Teddie Tuesday

I gave away my first ever flat screen earlier this year. Just a 40" Samsung...knew I wasn't getting anything for it.

this one I feel like I can get something...but it might just get stashed in my basement. until I figure out what to do with it....but I really don't want to do that either...so it might just be a giveaway
I was going to try fixing the TV that broke at first. Then when I looked at how much a new backlight cost and it would involve disassembling and reassembling the TV, I lost interest.

Seems like most people selling their TVs are listing in the $50-$100 range.

Might as well try to get something for it, especially in this economy where ever cent will count.. If no one bites to pay for it then you can give it away

My son is off to see Trump with some friends.

Right after he left I got a call from the people contracted to do some work. Start next Tuesday.... nope they can start today. Awesome as they helped me prep what I was going to do by myself..... but I had to shower and dress to go get cash outta the bank.

with the price of tvs right now, it's not even worth it to repair them...it's almost silly.

pulled the trigger on a new 65" tv to replace my old 55" Vizio.

Got a good deal and some money back on my credit card for a needed upgrade.

hoping I can turn around and sell my old one on craiglist or Nextdoor or some shit.
I bought a new 65" Samsung TV from Best Buy for $350 a couple weeks ago and ordered an extended arm wall mount off Amazon for $50. I'm using it exclusively for streaming sports over wifi, so it didn't need to be anything spectacular. I mounted it above my other 65" TV, so now I can watch the Brewers and playoff hockey at the same time or watch a game while I play a video game. Only been two weeks and already got its worth; that $400 price tag was nothing for how much extra entertainment I can consume nightly.

You can watch porn on two 65" tvs at same time.

Alright Alright Alright

It was just a courtesy.

Ok I will give ya that one! Awful nice of you. But they did come in earlier than expected so it's the least you could do

Yeah, wasn't even worth it. It's our basement TV. I think we wound up downsizing from a 50 to a 40, but whatever. One thing I constantly remind myself about is to multiply the amount of time you see on a YouTube tutorial by at least 4 for everything you're doing for the first or second time.

yea, I don't need that...I don't watch enough television to justify anything like that

Watching sports and/or playing video games is how I wind down evenings after dinner.

You're still in the newlywed phase, so I'm guessing you're happy to be snuggling on the couch with your bride watching Hunger Games or Twilight for the twentieth time together on one television. Eventually, you're not going to want to watch Twilight for the fiftieth time when you could be watching a big Phillies game; so you gotta build her a womancave (or you a mancave) so that animosity doesn't build when evening entertainment preferences differ. When you get to that phase, that 2-TV setup will probably sound more appealing.

my usual after work routie is I get home, I work out, walk the dog, make dinner, read for a little, then put on a tv show.

I don't play video games...don't really care to. I can read while she watches one of her shows or something...

What will you do when she wants to watch her show the same night the Phillies are in game 5 of the divisional round of the playoffs and the Eagles are playing a divisional game on SNF?

Readers digest version: Watch reruns of friends.

Just kidding but my younger brother did. Watched everyone with his second wife. Yeah, he drives a jeep jeep and has ducks on his dash too
