We're on a rollercoaster ride each week and I want off.
Been sayin it a few games but when JH finds "his" QB, one that kills with his legs too...this offense is gonna alot of fun
Drop 8 isn’t about the WRs, it is about the QB being patient. So far today when Tenn has dropped 8, Young’s clock has gone off before pressure has come.True but keep in mind they have 4-5 star WRs. They will eventually beat our secondary in speed. We blitz to cause havoc but sometimes it burns us.
The fact is that we don't have depth. Our starters have played amazing all season. The best fight I have seen from Tennessee since 2006. Hell this team puts many of Fulmer's top ten teams to shame for their fight and determination. The fact is we just don't have enough depth. Give Heupel some time and if he can reproduce what he did this season with better talent, we could be a force.
The key will be how well Heupel can recruit. It is too early to tell but we are not doing very well on that space right now but we are on the radar of most top recruits across the country right now. The key will be whether we can land some of them.
Lately hasn’t UTenn played Bama better at BDS then at Rickey Top?
Oh Im sure THIS year he sure would but some of the plays are there now, and with a QB with say, Anthony Richardson type legs.. plays that Hooker gets caught on go for BIG yardage with a QB with a lil better legs. The plays are there, the talent, at least not yet is not.Honestly, right now, I bet he wishes he has a few more OL men versus QB. Hendon Hooker has really stepped up. I am having a hard time finding flaws in his game. Best QB since at least Josh Dobbs.
I get it to a point, but if you don’t like the heat get the hell out of the kitchen. Players can play hard but when they make stupid mistakes, criticism is deserved. When I was in school, we played better on road then home because players got nervous in front of fans because of booing for bad performance. I think that is changing. If we (as a fanbase) can get out of our own way and just cheer for our team instead of criticize them, we could become a force in CFB again.
This is why I defend Milton despite his many mistakes. No reason to criticize players that play hard. People make mistakes.
Go Tennessee. Ducks could use an Alabama loss
Orange people littering the field
Good win for your Duckies ODGo Tennessee. Ducks could use an Alabama loss
