He's not a National Title level QB. He may go somewhere else and become a slightly better QB but he was not good. His pocket awareness is not great, and his athleticism is only going to take him so far.

last season was his first year as a starter.. might shock you but players can get better year to year.. and maybe he can make it to a 6th year and be like Pennix or Howard?

Care to weigh in on where Nico will end up?

Have no idea.. I think Riley could get the best out of him.. I think Lanning offers the most QB friendly offense at Oregon.. But who knows at this point.. just know it can't be another SEC school because of conference rules (unless he's cool to sit out '25)

He reminds me of the DJ Oogabooga dude from Clemson, 5* recruit, big hype, etc. Hasn't been great, not horrible...just..meh. I'm fine with moving on

lol that wasn't Nico that was Jackson Arnold with 3 turnovers in the 1st half 2 in the red zone. OU shut them out in the 2nd half and Hawkins almost brought OU back for the win.

No he was a true freshman last year and he was never supposed to play but Arnold sucked so bad they had no choice. Hawkins will back up John Mateer this year.

I don't think any major players are gonna roll the dice on a kid who pulled this stunt. He hasn't show he's nearly good enough. He's gonna end up at some low-middling P4 school

Can confirm. For the first time in like 3 years ND isn’t going to the portal for a QB. They’re happy with the 3 they have but I bet 1-2 who don’t win the job will jump in the portal.
