Wait until you see the NIL amount before you pick on UCLA since “it’s NOT about the money” according to family.

Maybe they got him for a 6-pack of Diet Coke and a couple of hot dogs. You know, like the PAC 12’s last TV deal.

My bet is he is getting 1.5mm. UCLA reportedly made him a take it or leave it offer so to justify this they probably shaved a million off what he was making to give them a defense.

Yeah except “it’s not about the money” is bullshit.

If it was always about the Vols offensive system then why did he hang around through spring ball. I mean Heupel was coming back. He could’ve announced he was intending to enter the portal and let TN move on and he wouldn’t come out of this looking like a total clown.

System hasn’t seemed to hurt Hooker or Milton who were both backup QB’s elsewhere in college yet are currently on NFL teams :laugh:

UCLA has a great system! It averaged 18 PPG last year! that was good for 126th in the country, just behind Air Force!

Fortunately, my mistakes haven't been national news. OTOH, I never made $2.5M/year, either.
