It's crazy the number of games Frost has lost by 1 score.
You would think those games would even out to around 50/50, so to lose them all seems to indicate coaching.

Maybe not.
I want Frost to get there.

Gonna be tough.

3-3 in your last 6 with Northwestern
lost a close one with OK last year, never know in a rivalry game, plus they're in transition
lost to Indiana last year but have otherwise hardly ever played them
have never lost to Rutgers
lost 3 of the last 4 to Purdue
lost last 2 to Illinois (but won 4 straight prior to that)
lost 3 straight to Minny
lost 2 straight to Mich
lost 8 straight to Wisky (and 9 of 10)
lost 7 straight to Iowa (and 8 of 11)

Looks like a 6-6 season.
Didn’t you see, Nebraska at worst is a pickem, 18-0 next season on a platter

But i heered how they lose all these one-pernt games, the lore of averages is bound to catch up with them eventually

I don’t think either will be contending for natties anymore, but I think Nebraska will be back to relevancy sooner(winning 10+ games consistently). Tennessee plays Bama and UGA every year
But UTjr won't play UGA every year as soon as divisions are eliminated. UTjr's pod is likely to be Vandy, Bama, and Auburn. That's at least 1 loss per year so long as Satan is there. But not the guaranteed 2 per year.

UTjr is in the middle of substantially more fertile recruiting grounds. It will be easier to get the leftovers in Georgia, NC, Florida, Alabama than it will be for Nebraska to talk southerners to go where the weather is cold, the corn is tall, and the women are ugly (jk, jk).

So, I voted UTjr, although I hope it never happens.

Imo, Frost needs at MINIMUM of 8 wins to keep his job another year, which I do think is very doable.

The way I see the year playing out...

Northwestern - W
North Dakota - W
Georgia Southern - W
Oklahoma - Coin Flip
Indiana - W
Rutgers - W
Purdue - W
Illinois - W
Minnesota - W
Michigan - Coin Flip
Wisconsin - Coin Flip
Iowa - W

But given what the team was capable of last year, assuming there isn't a drop, every one of those games is very winnable.
6 & 6

Don’t sleep on Georgia Southern.

What does Texas have to do with this?

No, you are wrong. Nobody in the Big 12 threw more interceptions per attempt than Casey last year (among qualifying QBs). He had 9 picks in 261 attempts. He threw a pick every 29 attempts. Martinez threw 10 picks in 306 attempts or 1 every 30.6. Not to mention Martinez had a 72.5 QBR and Casey had 62.6 QBR..
Nebraska fans are entertaining. Maybe Casey can be their excuse next year. Has to get old blaming Pelini, blaming Riley, blaming Frost. They need a new scape goat.

Nebraska should have never fired Frank Solich. They probably don't win any natties with him, but I can pretty well guarantee they'd at least still be at Kentucky's level now.

The only one "dick riding" or "deep throating" is yourself on the Nebraska football program. I don't know how you could keep a straight face typing out the post with all the "W's" for Nebraska next year.
Bro you keep posting about Nebraska in every thread. You are the epitome of dick riding. We all know you are riding high on finally beating Ohio St, congrats, act like you've done it before.

We could be talking about college football turf and you'll come in here saying Nebraska this, Nebraska that. You are gargling balls brotha. Spit or swallow, Idc, but get the fuck out.
I almost feel bad for how clueless Nebraska fans are. They actually believe they are a coach away from being elite again, and you post about winning all your games and how you are a coin flip with the other 3:facepalm:
Feel bad? Lol, you almost lost to a 3-9 squad if it wasn't for an absurd late fumble last year and you think some how it going the other way is unreasonable, you're a worthless tool. Why'd you change your name?

I liked ThrustInMe.
How about this? Shoot for getting bowl eligible before you shoot for the stars:pound:
You know what's crazy is how pathetic of an overall program Michigan really is. Claims to be some entrenched blue blood, but hasn't won an outright title since 1948. Before that, 1933. Before that, 1923. Shit, half your titles happened before PASSING was even allowed.

Another fun fact and speaking of bowls. Michigan is the team with the most wins.... even though I broke that down before and showed how they have played more than 100 opponents MORE than most other blue bloods and those programs wouldn't even be considered FBS now.... shit, most wouldn't even be FCS. You have all of these wins...#1 in the country in wins, yet aren't even top 10 in bowl games.

Fucking pretenders. Been nothing but pretenders since basically the 1940s. Below is some proof...

@NewPhoneWhoDis - Wanna one month av bet on Nebraskas season this upcoming year? I win if they do better than 6-6, you win if they do worse, we both push if it is 6-6?

Me too. I would like to see an undefeated Nebraska lose one game next season (to Oklahoma in another one score game) and then run the table all the way through the Big 10 championship game. I want Nebraska to get back to what Nebraska football should be. Then their recruiting could be stronger than a garlic malt again. I know all that's impossible so I'll just settle for 9-3 and the Big 10 championship.

I will go one better -- I will do a lifetime avy bet with you that Nebraska doesn't win 9 games like you predicted. Let me know.

Here is the difference -- I don't expect Michigan to be among the elite programs. Michigan is what it is and that is where they will stay, because they do not have the necessary in state talent to put up monster classes every year. But Michigan looks like a recruiting juggernaut compared to Nebraska and the state of Michigan for recruits looks like Georgia compared to Nebraska.

Nebraska fans truly believe they are simply a coach away from being elite again, completely ignoring how much the game has changed, recruiting has changed and the fact Nebraska is no longer a big fish in the Big 12, they are now a middle of the road team, not in the B1G, but in just the B1G West.

You would get along great with the homer UM fans who want to talk about the most wins, as if that means anything. You could sit down and talk about all the wins you've had in the past. My question is -- why didn't you post Nebraska's record since they sold their soul for a few extra dollars and screwed the football program by joining the program? You've been like a .500 program, while playing in the weak division of the B1G. But we know -- it was Pelini's fault, it was Riley's fault, it is now Frost's fault.

A little hint -- zero in state recruits, no surrounding states with alot of elite recruits, playing your games in the midwest now, having no national rival anymore and playing in the "other division" of the B1G is why. Pelini should have been given a massive raise, he shouldn't have been fired.

Tennessee. Tennessee has the potential to return sooner or later. Nebraska is deader than the hair follicles on Robin Williams knuckles.

yeah but Casey had a bum thumb from the ou game, on

Nebraska... Living rent free in NewPhoneWhoDis' (a.k.a. TrustMeIAmRight's) head since 1997.
This is a thread about..........................Nebraska.

I don't need to start a thread like this -- I said years ago that Nebraska was going to struggle after coming to the B1G. As more threads come up like this -- it just proves the point I made year's ago.

But Nebraska fans are right.................it is Pelini's fault, Riley's fault, Frost's fault............fill in the next head coaches fault. At some point you will realize you aren't competing for titles in today's CFB with no in state talent and no talent in surrounding states to have a recruiting base.

You let me know when I should say "I told you so".:beer2:
