TEXANS TO RELEASE JJ WATT

Wants his release to retire, or go somewhere else? Dallas should sign him as a giant middle finger to HOU.

I'm sure he will join them before he retires one day. The franchise actually made a good decision....I mean they could have received a decent pick but what he meant to the organization all these years, honorable thing.

wouldn't honorable be playing out your last contract year?
wouldn't honorable be telling them - I would like to play for x, y , or z - can you trade me for something?

Pretty sure JJ wants to go to an organization with a shot at a Lombardi, so that rules out Dallas.
If you say so. A focus on defense will get us to back to contention, and a locker room voice would go a long way.

I'm sure they discussed that and realized no one was going to take on $17M for a breaking down JJ Watt in a reduced cap year. Texans would have had to pay something to unload it. As there is no cap hit to releasing him, that is about the only way he can move on.

You sound like Lions fans every offseason.
Maybe let's hear from a fanbase of a team that doesn't take one of the top 3 QB's of all time and win a grand total of 1 Lombardi with him.

Now you're sounding like a Pats fan... ...all over the map today, homie!

And just a reminder... One of the reasons Rodgers only has 1 Lombardi is coaching Dallas right now...

I don't hear many pats fans caring about other teams.
