TEXANS TO RELEASE JJ WATT

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to trades, and free agency etc...

But couldn't the Texans have traded Watt and gotten at least something in return instead of just releasing him and getting absolutely nothing?

Not getting hopeful but he would look great on the opposite side of Myles Garrett. He is definitely very injury prone at this time in his career though. That being said, he is still pretty damn good when healthy.

you would think...........

1) no team will take his salary
2) this team has no idea what its doing.

Them: "What do you think the Texans next move should be?"

Me: "Hopefully out of the state."

I mean he is making a shit ton and deteriorating. If a contending team can get him on a nice contract and on limited snaps he will be much more worth it

This kind of reminds me of Moneyball.
Only instead of the A's manager & Billy. it is the QB & texan front office.

QB not cooperating.
Front office starts trading/releasing people.
Looks Watson in the eyes & says "I can do this all day" LOL

I'd call the Texans' version of it Dummyball.

Yeah well they started doing that before Watson even asked for a trade. Trading away Hopkins for a Hershey's bar and a bag of dicks

Come home to Wisconsin, JJ. You'd look dashing in Packers Green.

well they also did that before he signed his new extension.

Hell yeah he'd look damn good on the d-line with Garrett. But I doubt him landing in Cleveland is even a possibility.

Boy, you done don’t believe!?! Non-believer! The yankee carpetbagger GM and pastor man going to save us all!
I'd trust the new Titanic before I trusted this clown show walking three ring circus tent revival!
