i thought the BiG bred OL? Like WI seems to have a solid OLine every year.. take some from wherever they are getting them

Mark Pelini: Good ol' UNCLE BO gave this un-rated pathetic walk-on the starting center job.

Jake Cotton: A two* O-lineman starter thanks to DADDY Barney Cotton the O-line coach.

There were other 'Cotton' boys too that got playing time because of DADDY.

These pussies couldn't move McNeese St off the cot damn line.

Texas insider on surly said he's hearing it will remain being 2 divisions.
aggy requested that UT be placed in the East and it was shut down
9 Conf games
No FCS scheduling
1 permanent cross over game
Think Bama and UT will be that permanent cross over game

This goes in line with the thinking that LHN becomes SEC West Network

In your scenario, UT vs Bama won't be cross over because Bama will move to East.

This is what it would look like and it makes sense Geographically:

East: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt (Basically the East will lose Missouri and gain Alabama plus Auburn)

West: Arkansas, LSU, Missouri, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas, and Texas A&M

Have you not figured out that Tennessee will no longer be able to use the UT moniker?

UT in the SEC will soon belong to tejas and will be fought for with feverish passion right up there with the 'No Horns Down' rule.

Sooo any two of.....

Colorado, Kansas, Iowa St, Virginia, Notre Dame
I guess. ND isn't coming though so I think Kansas is really the only lock. After that I'm just not sure. UVA would be awesome but I doubt they leave the ACC. After that it's kind of all blah....

I can tell you Purdue is REALLY hoping we add an Eastern team. If we add 2 west of them they're pretty much a lock to head east

No there's actually legislation in place in NC

Have you heard or read something new/official regarding Notre Dame?

This is a new re-alignment situation and adding Kansas opens that door once again.
When Nebraska came the Big 10 was at 11 and needed another to make 12.
Maryland and Rutgers were simply land grabs and an easy 14.
Kansas (good bet) makes 15 so they'll need another.
ND is and always has been a perfect fit for the Big 10.

Warren should at least make the call if he hasn't already.

"Aug 3, 2020 — Notre Dame earned $7 million as a partial ACC member, and its deal with NBC pays $15 million annually."

$22 million compared to $54 million in the Big 10? hmmmmm

Oh yeah? Well just for that I'm gonna attend the next OU/Alabama game in Tuscaloosa wearing a day-glo yellow slingshot mylar thong and a Madonna cone bra. And some tie-dyed cat skin cowboy boots.

Cat skin cowboy boots...too far good sir, too far.

Saw that. I was doing my due diligence on him earlier.

Kansas is #5 overall in basketball revenue generation nationally.

On average, basketball contributes about 25% of a P5's athletic department revenue.
The NCAA tournament (March Madness) is the highest source of revenue for the NCAA which doles that revenue out accordingly.
Yes... The NCAA makes more revenue from basketball than football.
Kansas is sure to make the Tournament year in and year out (increasing the Big 10's share) and would make for some fantastic Big 10 match-ups during the regular season.
True that football is the main force behind these media contracts (BTN/FOX/ESPN), but basketball is also a part of those contracts.

Of course the NCAA makes more money off basketball, because the NCAA doesn't get any of the D1 football money, so some is always going to be more than none.

Regular season college basketball tv rights are like nuts on a Sundae...they come with it, but most people would still buy the Sundae with no nuts, and the number of people that wouldn't buy the Sundae with no nuts is negligible.
