That was 60 years ago. And ND's hand is probably going to be forced. They are in the ACC for some sports, and they're in the B10 for at least hockey. So it's going to be about what each offers and we have more money than the ACC.
I'm a big fan of the pod system. It actually preserves more traditional rivalries and allows you to play every team more frequently. And it automatically sets up the first round of a 12- or 16-team playoff by having the pod winners face off for the conference title
