The BIG and the PAC and ACC ought to be making some serious phone calls today.

Just waiting around is stupid.
Especially since it sounds like Mizzou and A&M would nix Texas. If one more (Arkansas?) is a no they can't join, right?

That'd put them in a pretty tough spot.

Will laugh my ass off if OU & UT don’t get into the SEC especially since Missouri got in. It’s like tripping on the low bar and face planting.

I guess we'll just keep adding to our 50 Conference Championships every year then.

It's a tough gig.

ND either stays independent or joins the ACC. The writing is on the wall
ND stays the same or changes... you should've saved that for the Bold Prediction thread.

I know your point was to say the B1G isn't in contention, so please don't try to explain it.

How is that no Texas or OU thing working out for you guys??

Guess it won't really matter if there is expanded playoffs. OU should be happy where they are. Must be Texas telling them what to do.

Why does OU follow Texas around like a bitch in heat? Texas isn't going to cancel the game, it's still big for them. Texas could join whatever conference or go independent, they would still play OU.

IMHO, the vote would have been sounded out through back channels long before the discussions got really serious and public.

1st question from B10 media days was about the Texas and OU situation. Seems to leave it super open.

You are assuming there isn't a "but we're Texas, everyone wants us and loves us" attitude in Austin. No doubt they don't feel the need to even question if they would be let in. They are that full of themselves.

Correct. The post was in response to a ND to the Big Ten proposal. At least you understood the point, that gives you a leg up on some of the SEC folk

I had this thought as well, especially because this started from Texas' camp.

I am operating on the premise that neither conferences nor teams want to be publicly left at the alter, so to speak.
