Auburn kills it in both Georgia and Florida. You would be basically in same shoes as Auburn. However, the Texas-Texas A&M game (I can't remember rivalry name) would be a major selling point. Also A&M has GREAT facilities now. I think there will be 2 powerhouses in Texas, not one. I don't think we are going back to Texas being the sole power in the state.
I never said it was done. I am just enjoying the Aggies reaction. That and the SEC doing this behind A&M’s back. That is just classicCan't wait for the excuses you have when this blows up an Texas is left holding its own cock.
Georgia, Florida and South Carolina have an agreement that all 3 will vote no on expansion for Georgia Tech, Clemson or Florida State.Who all could vote against it? I'd guess Texas A&M, South Carolina and Florida since all are incentivized to not have another SEC program in their state with real contenders in the mix.

But I doubt there’s enough no votes for Texas or OU
Right now you just have to get 11 votes so that block wouldn't keep anyone out unless they got another to go in with them.Georgia, Florida and South Carolina have an agreement that all 3 will vote no on expansion for Georgia Tech, Clemson or Florida State.

They tried to get back in the SEC decades ago, but it was nearly a unanimous no vote. But they’re a founding member of the SEC, but they’d bring nothing to the table, so they won’t ever be backI forgot about GT.
With how close to a deal as it sounds they are, I‘d be shocked if don’t already have the at least 11 votes they needGeorgia, Florida and South Carolina have an agreement that all 3 will vote no on expansion for Georgia Tech, Clemson or Florida State.

Because we left to get away from you.
I don’t think adding any of those 3 would make much since. If the SEC wants to expand East, they should be looking in North Carolina and VirginiaRight now you just have to get 11 votes so that block wouldn't keep anyone out unless they got another to go in with them.
I’m nixing this now. UGA will not share a division with a bunch of Tuscaloosa inbreds
At this point I highly doubt Georgia is afraid of GT. I totally get South Carolina though..Georgia, Florida and South Carolina have an agreement that all 3 will vote no on expansion for Georgia Tech, Clemson or Florida State.

GT wouldn’t get the votes. They don’t really have anything to offer right now, they’re not great at any sport and their market share in the state is minuscule. At this point I highly doubt Georgia is afraid of GT. I totally get South Carolina though..
In pods, you will play them every other year. Might not want to be too brash ... right now they'd spank your ass every time you played.yeah i think this works best.. aggy doesn't want to be close to UT.. eventually they will come around
Agreed. I just think it is funny to say Georgia would no vote, because GTech may come calling. This is about money. Not many programs that bring money in like Texas and OU. These are large national fan bases. Both are top 10 assets to a conference. Why else do you think the SEC has been negotiating for 6 months behind A&Ms back?GT wouldn’t get the votes. They don’t really have anything to offer right now, they’re not great at any sport and their market share in the state is minuscule.
Kevin Warren in his office every dayThis is going to happen and the B1G is going to have Kevin fucking Warren leading a merger and probably realignment....

I wholeheartedly agree. Financially, any team voting no is a fool.Agreed. I just think it is funny to say Georgia would no vote, because GTech may come calling. This is about money.
