Oklahoma seems up right now with talent and coaching. I think they hit the SEC hot. All of the scenarios regarding how the division splits have Oklahoma in a different division than Alabama or Georgia (two teams that are at their level). LSU is down right now but Texas A&M is up. Based on how things pan out, Oklahoma wins 9-11 games first season in SEC easily depending on their schedule. Alabama, Florida (maybe), Georgia, LSU (maybe), and Texas A&M are the only schools that have a chance to beat out Oklahoma. Sure, a team like Ole Miss could upset Oklahoma, but I don't see Oklahoma struggling that much. Oklahoma will then get a recruiting boost. I see Oklahoma about on par with Georgia getting 10-11 wins most seasons but struggling with Saban's Alabama. Oklahoma will definitely be a force in the SEC unless they do something stupid like fire their coach and hire Butch Jones or something like that.
Texas will have a different experience. While, I don't think they will be terrible, I think Texas struggles early in the SEC. Texas is not on good footing at the moment. However, with the right coaching and recruiting, Texas has a chance to do very well and become a power in the league. It will take several years though before Texas makes any kind of move in the SEC. I see them losing to Oklahoma, A&M, and the other powers early on but if they can pull and upset or two and start recruiting well, they could turn it around fairly quickly.
