I didn't say Dallas was miniscule, dummy. TCU's perceived market is miniscule. Even in the best of years, they were outnumbered by A&M/Longhorn fans in Dallas.
Dallas Fort Worth is exactly where TCU is you dumbass. How would it be anything else? Just admit you fucked up.

Again, you aren’t as smart as you think you are.

It's not available on some cable companies out west, and is also not carried by DirecTV. It would be wise to fix the distribution issues locally before branching out to national PAC-12 network coverage.

That's horrible.

You may as well list all the high schools in Dallas/Fort Worth, since they have about as much chance of being the biggest fanbase amongst Dallas/Ft Worth residents as TCU does.

wonder if a few hundred disgruntled TCU fans would force local cable to make sure they carry the PAC network? Or would the remaining population say..ehh we are good we'll keep our money ?

I'm not sure I see TCU dominant in anything, anywhere.
Not for TCU, but Tech has a pretty good following in that area.. nothing like UT/ou but it's there.

You seem to still not understand.

If the PAC adds TCU, the providers can put the PAC network on for every one of their customers in the Dallas FW area. Regardless if they are watching or not, the PAC is still getting paid for it. It is the exact reason the B1G added Maryland and Rutgers.

But, but, but, we've been assured that TCU delivers the Dallas market.

The PAC was unable to get providers to put the PAC network on for every one of their customers ON THE WEST COAST.

Now you think they will magically be able to do it in Texas.

This was back in post 2,036, which you glossed over when you were still learning the difference between Tier 1/3.

Ignoring Texas is a huge football frenzy will not do you any good. Absolutely those providers in Dallas FW are adding the PAC network and the PAC is getting paid.

Also, whats the percentage of providers out west that don’t offer the pac network?

I have heard it's a substantial number.
Big enough to get talked about.

That was a couple of years ago though.
Regardless if that’s true or not, Texas is way different then the west coast. It’s more then reasonable to believe providers would pick that up in Dallas F/W considering a major university, from That city is part of that.

So you still can’t see how payments would go up for adding the 5th largest television market?

You still aren’t as smart as you think you are.
Not at all. The Pac 12 covers the most big markets and most wealth out of any conference and couldn’t get the distribution that they wanted.

I would argue Texas is different then the west coast. It’s hard for me to see in football crazy Texas providers in DFW saying no to having the PAC 12 network when a school from DFW is in it.

You should probably see an optometrist then.

You should have exited this thread once you realized you had no idea what Tier 1 rights were.

You aren’t qualified to give advice On eye sight.

Nor should you be telling people to leave threads when you call the 5th largest television market “miniscule.”

Yes we know we know, you still aren’t as smart as you think ya are.
