You aren’t qualified to give advice On eye sight.

Nor should you be telling people to leave threads when you call the 5th largest television market “miniscule.”

Yes we know we know, you still aren’t as smart as you think ya are.

You seem to think that the people who watch TCU football games = the 5th largest TV market.

Obviously, that is a complete fabrication on your part.

You probably think Columbia football delivers the #1 TV market.

You literally stated the “perceived market they” bring is “minuscule.” Which means you thought the DFW market was small. It’s ok to say you got it wrong. Everyone here knows you aren’t as smart as you think you are.

Only idiots would perceive that TCU delivers the DFW market. It's well known that UT is the most popular team there. aTm is probably 2nd.

And we’ve already been over this. A provider carrying it in DFW will get the PAC paid regardless if anyone watches it or not. You keep ignoring this.

Dallas/Ft Worth isn't minuscule.

TCU's market share is.

A provider carrying it will. Getting the providers to carry it is where the PAC will fail...because no one cares about TCU football.

Ya called DFW miniscule. Ya going to admit you were wrong?

“Because some bumblescum town in Eastern Oregon wouldn’t carry it, that mean #5 television market definitely won’t. derrrrrrrrrrrr”

Some highlights from TCU's viewership last season:

12/12 - 290K
12/5 - 642K
11/18 - 217K
11/7 - 559K
10/31 - 353K
09/26 - 346K

Yeah, they deliver the 5th biggest media market, all right....

I get PAC-12 Network. I had to switch satellite providers in order to get it.

You seem to equate TCU with Dallas for some reason. You probably think Columbia delivers the NYC market.

You still aren’t understanding or are refusing too.

But since I have to explain it again, before the PAC would add TCU they would talk to the networks (the provider) about having the PAC network in DFW. (this should be obvious) If the networks say ya then ya add TCU and if no then ya don’t. It’s fairly simple. It doesn’t matter if in DFW not a single person watches one second. The provider is still charging and the PAC is still getting paid. Its no different then Columbia’s conference network being carried by provider/s in NYC. Yeah, they deliver the NYC market regardless if people watch them or not.

It’s exactly why the B1G added Maryland and Rutgers.

Why are you confusing the networks with TV providers? Jesus, you're stupid.

You know what @ralphiewvu , I've changed my mind. It's fun having you to kick around.

From now on, I christen thee, Simple Jack.

I would argue Texas is different then the west coast. It’s hard for me to see in football crazy Texas providers in DFW saying no to having the PAC 12 network when a school from DFW is in it.
But “Texas” isn’t a distributor so it is irrelevant. It is the biggest problem with the whole “market” argument when it comes to expansion. South Bend with a population of like 5 people is bigger than TCU and Rutgers. Texas may have moved the needle on negotiations but TCU wouldn’t. Dallas folks would just get Pac 12 Dallas or whatever the name would be.

Texas isn’t a distributor?

DFW providers aren’t going to add the PAC on its own. You throw teams from Texas in there I bet they would.

Texas nor Dallas is a network provider. So it isn’t.

Yes, by definition every expansion brings in more revenue for the conference. But adding “Dallas” won’t budge DirectTv on the not including the Pac12 networks which means no new market the conference adds would add the entire market let alone a market where the 5th or 6th most popular team is on…otherwise SMU would have a lot more value to add than TCU because SMU is a better overall athletics program. The revenue bump the conference would receive wouldn’t be worth it because it has to get divided 12 times and TCU won’t bring that much to the table. Contracts are build around television negotiation rights but you have to have to negotiate with network providers and the Pac12 does not have a deal with one of the countries largest and outside of Notre Dame there isn’t a school that the Pac12 could come to the bargaining table with to get them on board.

Go fuck yourself.

You know Exactly what I mean. You just don’t want TCU in your conference.

Of course I don't want them in my conference. I want Oregon to get as much money as possible.

Cmon, Simple Jack...you can do better than this, can't you?
