This week in Alabama is a preview of Fall.... mid 80's, lower dewpoints & humidity. I wish I had some vacation time left.

Well la-tee-da, must have just rained in Austin.
It's been beautiful in Iowa this week too! 81 and sunny right now after starting the morning in the low 60s.This week in Alabama is a preview of Fall.... mid 80's, lower dewpoints & humidity. I wish I had some vacation time left.
Miami was only a 6 seed in the East. Not very rough.Florida Heat is rough
The PAC 12 and Big 10 are so relieved they didn’t take Texas because of the heat.
Excellent question. @ELTEXAN can you guys handle the Arizona heat?More like Texas is glad they didn't join the Pac12 because of the Arizona heat.
We play in 102° and 60-something % humidity in early September. I think we could handle a cool(er) AZ September nightExcellent question. @ELTEXAN can you guys handle the Arizona heat?
all that is missing is a can of off woods
I heard if you mainline the stuff, you’re good for a year, and you can even soak your clothes in it (cheer jerseys only)all that is missing is a can of off woods
Hottest of my life was at Red Mountain Country Club in Mesa, AZ. 119 and wind that felt like someone had put a fan in the back of the oven and left the door open. Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport was closed part of the late afternoon because the planes couldn't get enough lift in that much dry heat. Air was too hot and thin. I have no idea why we played another 18 that afternoon other than it only cost another cart fee. Cart girl came by on about hole #4 and said, "If you guys need anything, you better get it now. They are sending me home. You guys are the only ones out here." Transation: "You guys are idiots."True Story: Hottest day of my life was in West Texas (San Angelo) when I was in the Army. I was on an Air Force Base doing some training, and it was 112 F that day. It was already hot as blazes during morning P.T. After P.T. was over, the SGT in charge let us know that when we fell out for morning formation, we could roll up our BDU pants. Turns out, the Air Force folks cancelled P.T. and could wear some kind of light uniform that day. I must say, it was a hot day, but the cold beer at the E-Club was mighty tasty that night!
Ha! I, too, was in the Army and spent 8 months at Goodfellow, in 2003, that's where I did my AIT. And yes, I remember multiple days that summer where the drill sergeants weren't permitted to smoke our asses because it was so ridiculously hot they were "black flag" days, where you can barely do fuckall outdoorsTrue Story: Hottest day of my life was in West Texas (San Angelo) when I was in the Army. We should just forfeit. The Texas heat is too much for the SEC and we have made a massive mistake. The Longhorn evil plan is coming together and we are all screwed.
What have we done?
I don't like high heat but I despise cold. I'm talking about the kind of cold that makes your dick disappear and the lawyers have got their hands inside their own pockets.
Agree....but I was talking about freezing or being hot for an extended period of time after doing everything you can to make it better. Being hot with enough water to drink can go on for a long time but that freezing stuff with the frost bite and hypothermia is something that's just off the charts. Both suck but I'd much rather work outside in cold than hot. Lots of stuff I can do to stay warm, heat you just have to sit there and suffer
How cold are we talking? I’m good all the way down in the 40s but once we hit the 30s I’m not happy. I’m just not conditioned for it at all and the older I’ve gotten the worse the cold is.Both suck but I'd much rather work outside in cold than hot.
