Texas & Nebraska

Gotta step up your game, Longhorns. That's pitiful. And Nebraska needs to improve too obviously but it's apparent that talent development is not Texas' long suit.
 
Tell me why coaching doesn't matter again?
 
development is a huge issue.. which is the reason Tom isn't here anymore ('19 class is one of, if not the worst classes for UT and it was nationally ranked top 5 IIRC)

But thank goodness I'm not a Nebraska fan because.. we still got that many more 5 and 4 stars to commit here despite our struggles. If we both got the coaching right, we would be much better than we both have over the past 5 years or so.. however the learning curve isn't as steep at UT because of talent being close to campus compared to Lincoln.

Literally said development was important. Stop dragging shit into different threads, especially weeks old shit. Nobody cares. Nobody wants derailed threads because a crybaby Nebraska fan is stuck in the 90’s. You can have the last word. I quit, you win.

LOL you're full of it. You said recruiting was everything and that development was not important and that you cant make players bigger stronger faster.

Texas having the better resources and far more talent available really just makes their suckage that much more embarrassing.

sure it's embarrassing but the point is..THEY STILL are coming.. They signed two 5 star OL last class, they are about to land another 5 star QB in Arch, most likely a 5 star RB, and a composite 5 star WR..

as long as they aren't embarrassed to sign.. we still are attracting better players on paper.. hopefully this staff can develop it
 
Nebraska aside, how in the WORLD has Texas not won the Big12 on the regular since the reformation?
I get the rest of that conference not being a consistent contender but Texas? That’s crazy

not sure..maybe that's why we hired and fired 2 coaches in the past7 seasons? But don't fret, we finally hired some guys who know how to get this team into shape!!!
