Texas & Nebraska

The donghorns are considerably closer to 'beaches' than the Sooners.

See how fucking stupid that argument is?
After all the blame UT got for the last alignment, we decided to suck shit through a straw in order to allow the other programs to carry the conference.. They all, including ou, sucked too

Nobody ever said coaching didn’t matter.
Pretty sure you just said that the other day. You were just trolling, but you said UGA won the natty just because the of the players, coaching didn't have anything to do with it. Yep, that's what you said. Never mind the players are there because of the coaches, but that's exactly what you said.

"Dooley coached his team to a natty. Kirby won with players, not scheme. Players get all the credit for 2021."

Assistant coaches get credit to, but no team is winning because of Kirby, they win in spite of him. His choices at QB tell you all you need to know

ThrustInMe sure as hell did.
I think you are confused. Nowhere did I say coaching doesn't matter. I've simply said it doesn't matter who is coaching Nebraska, as they will never be elite again, because they cannot recruit like the elite programs. The graphic in this post is a perfect example. 13 years -- 0 five star recruits, only 72 four star recruits in 13 years.

Hell -- you can't even get your own former players to send their kids to Nebraska.

And yet just as good as another program that has had numerous 4 and 5 stars.

Dunce gonna dunce.

And that program has won what since 2009? Nebraska fans don't seem to grasp -- the only programs a coach away from being elite are the programs who can recruit like the elite schools, yet they are underachieving (like Texas, like USC, like Florida, like Florida State). Notice how Texas, who when they have been terrible are still pulling in 5 star recruits? It is because they are located in a state with an enormous amount of blue chip recruits. Same goes for the other schools.

Nebraska is a coach away from simply being relevant in the B1G West on a yearly basis, not a coach away from being among the nationally elite.

The team you hate wins a natty and you either (1) continue to troll, or (2) are too dumb to enjoy the best coach UGA has ever had.

Quick intel: CKS' choice to stick with Stetson won a NC. Can't make a better choice than that.

Now, back under the bridge for you, troll.

Should have been 15-0 and would have been had JTD been the QB. And now JTD is at West Virginia. That’s what, 3 5 star QB’s Kirby has ran off, likely soon to be 4 because he won’t play Vandagriff?

You just won a national title. There is a reason why JTD is at his 3rd school now and it isn't because he is one of the top QB's in CFB.

Clearly talent doesn't matter as much as you think by itself otherwise Texas would be doing considerably better than they have.

He was better than Stetson Bennett. Team shouldn’t have to overcome the coach picking the wrong QB in order to win a natty. Kirby has literally never made the right choice at QB. Lambert over Eason, Eason over Fromm, Fromm over Fields, Mathis over Bennett, Bennett over Daniels. It was like Tebow taking the Broncos to the playoffs

You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don't have a coach to put the talent in places to succeed -- you are going to struggle. That's what has happened at Texas, at USC, at Florida, at Florida State.

The difference between Texas, USC, Florida, Florida State, etc. -- They CAN bring in elite recruiting classes because they are located in states with a ton of blue chip talent. Nebraska could bring in Nick Saban as their HC and they still wouldn't be able to recruit classes like Georgia, Bama, LSU, OSU, etc. So those schools ARE just a coach away from being able to compete nationally. Unless Nebraska talks Warren Buffett into buying them a top recruiting class (ala Texas A&M) -- they won't ever be signing a class like that.

Hell, we've got a bunch of beach out in the desert. Just no ocean to go with it.

Addison is going to the highest bidder -- he couldn't care less if he wins or loses. If Texas offers him a dollar more than anyone else -- he will be on Texas.

This is probably going to be the case with a lot of them. Could be short sighted for players that have NFL futures. If not, ....................

Lamborghini Austin started following him on IG

Tell me why coaching doesn't matter again?
I'd argue, based on the incoming talent, that Nebraska performed about as expected for the talent level they recruited and Texas dramatically under performed. Coaching matters, but so does recruiting. Texas had more than twice the 4 star recruits with the same level of success.
