Fun fact. Texas has "out recruited" OU 7 years in the past decade on paper and turned it into just 3 wins (with one win in a season coming where they lost the one that matters in the title game) in that span.

Texas is 1 good coach away from getting back.
Sark might be that guy. Has the experience.

But him thinking that bringing Mike Stoops on board was a good idea, you have to just shake your head.

I blame CDC more than Sark for that... Sark didn't understand the reputation that Mike had within the state.. CDC should have.

I'm not saying Mike wouldn't be a solid position coach, but the guy is too toxic when attempting to bring him to a place like Texas. Recruit/trainers talk, they all know how much his own players hated him at ou.

Most overrated in state school

I'd also add the rest of the in state schools ain't doing too swift either. But they weren't called out as much.

Sark picking it up on the trail and atleast stopped the momentum aggy was building in Houston.. even just momentarily. Been so long since the Mack days that UT has had a closer doing work early...

Funny you mention that I was watching the news last night when sports came on and they said OU is already 12-0 in softball with 29-0, 21-2, and 33-4 scores so far.

yeah ou are monsters in softball, but Texas is pretty good themselves..

still don't understand why he changed up his style that got him a job at a P5 school in the first place. If you saw his teams at VCU compared to UT.. no way would you have thought it was the same coach.
