This is what adding Texas and OU was all about. Eyeballs. Texas, even when they suck which has been most of the time, brings the eyeballs. OU, too. When you run through the permutations of UGA, Bama, UTjr, LSU, Auburn, ATM, and UF v. each other a lot more in divisionless SEC IC schedules, and then run OU and Texas through those teams, the number of 4 million plus games is going to be unreal.
The B1G bringing in USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington aren't going to get that level of games. But, with their huge fanbases, and the newness of the competition they will generate serious numbers also earning their billions.
This is why the SEC gets the big $ and the ACC doesn't. They keep blaming it on the bad contract when it's bad football. Seeing FSU, and Miami play better is how you get more money at some point. If Clemson rights the ship, and Lousiville, VaTech, and UNC would spend the money and get their programs in the top 15 competing for the CFP, then the ACC will earn more money and can then blame the bad contract. But they have to take care of business first.
