you ever been to Mercado's off South 1st? Their house Margaritas are pretty strong, they hit you later. Also I had a shot of Dulce Vida Tequila, which is very strong. Had that and hit downtown with my friend.. night was a blur.

Never been to Mercado's. And FTR, I'm not a fan of Chuy's food at all...just their libations. :beer2:

Truthbomb: the best scenario would have been to hire Mack back on a one or two year contract while we got a real coaching search going. But that, for human reasons, would never happen.

My guess is because Mack would Texas "thanks but I'm at a better spot now". No need for the stress of the Texas Ex's

The whole BMDs and Texas Ex's is way overblown. Yes CDC got pushed behind the search, since he wanted to give Tom another season, but the guy hates to fire anyone. He's never done it. He waits til the contract expires before making a switch.

However he's great at everything else... He still raised the money for the change and the upgrade in facilities not just in Football but for the overall athletic program.

But those BMDs and Ex's will let you do your job.. Herman rubbed them all the wrong way but had he won and made better strides, they would have just kept it moving. In this day and age, if you can't have a significant showing after the first 3 seasons on a job, you're likely aren't going to.
