Then win it. If you are SEC or B1G you can then get the coveted no. 5 seed.
The interesting thing I see is what happens if a team doesn't get into the CCG but are ranked higher. This could actually happen this year. It's possible that LSU and ATM could be in the SECCG, but UGA be ranked no. 1 or 2. LSU and ATM have OOC losses, and they could be one loss teams like UGA (assuming UGA wins out), but win the tiebreaker scenario to get into the SECCG. In that case I can see UGA getting the 5 seed ahead of the SECCG loser. Someone here raised that possibility the other day. I hadn't thought of that.
