I don't think Sark leaves tejas unless he wins a Natty. What else would there be for him to accomplish in the college ranks?

Could be another Saban/LSU thing? Go NFL, then come back to CFB if it doesn't work out.

If this turns out as your example, Sark leaves Texas, fails in the nfl, comes back to college football as Oklahoma's HC and leads them to several NCs.

I just want to thank Quinn for coming to a program who only won 5 games the year before he arrived.. and won 8, then 12 and finally 13 games. Despite all the angst from his own fanbase and the CFB world.. he helped turn this shit around.

I'm 45, and i will always feel bad for the vigor i came down with on Chris Simms.. not understanding how things hard it is to change things.. his foundation helped get VY and that Championship in 2005.

Wish Quinn the best of luck in the NFL, and I really believe that his best football is ahead of him... Texas is in a terrific spot.

I was assured you were back long before Quinn.

You will probably be playing him next yr

It didn't dawn on me until last night but Sark is Lincoln Riley. He's good enough to get you to the playoffs but he's never winning the big one.

sure.. but he won't be leaving us to head back to SC or to go to Bama either..

so, advantage.. ou?

So now it's Arch team..
Texas is hosting the OG from SC this weekend.. He would be Texas first OL from the portal if he commits..

'25 OL LT Goosby LG ??? C Hutson RG Campbell RT Baker

wonder where Neto, Roberson end up... think they could be real portal defections. I also think Cruz has a real shot at playing Center after red-shirting..

Secondary will look new too.. although I think Muhammed played very well after getting picked on by Clemson and ASU the past two CFP games. Is Black ready to fill on the other side? Mack?
At safety, Taafe and Mukuba (terrific duo this season) are gone.. Leaves on paper Derek Williams (coming off injury) and McDonald as the two safety favorites heading into the spring. JJR, Warren Roberson should also be in the mix. I hope they can get Guillebeau to return for his last year of eligibility.. he's been hampered by the injury bug the past two seasons but he looks like the type to really improve like Barron showed.

Not worried about RB/WR/LB (since they picked up the starter from Arkansas)

DT is still an issue, although I think they got two good depth pieces so far in the portal (Cole and Shaw) at NT. Good to see January getting a lot of snaps last night too. Maybe we can salvage one Bo Davis recruitment afterall lol.

DEs should be Collins, Burke for sure.. I would like Trey Moore to return but he looks to have a real shot at the draft in April. Impressed in the snaps Vasek played last night too.. quick bursts of energy as a pass rusher.. also tripped up Judkins for a loss too. Looks like he's finally healthy.

The '25 season team should have a good shot at making the CFP once again
