I met him at the ATL airport during that time. I was on my way home on leave after boot camp in uniform, he had on a cool leather jacket that was half Falcons, half Braves. Talked to him for a minute on the escalator, nice guy.

I didn’t even know the Falcons existed until they played the Broncos in the Super Bowl, and John Smoltz was a closer and Chipper Jones was playing LF when I really started watching the Braves. It was all about Dale Earnhardt, early UFC and UGA football with my dad, he’d watch the Braves in the playoffs, but I didn’t pay much attention
