They beat a TCU team that was clearly going to fall off a cliff from last year, Nebraska who's been in the cellar for years, and a Colorado State team who went 3-9 in both 2021 and 2022 (2 of these they coulda easily lost too) and you had idiots acting like they were legit contenders because of it.

Exactly. He didn't improve shit, he just brought in a whole new team. There wasn't some great coaching that took a squad of 1 win players to a more competitive 4 wins, he just cut everyone and replaced them with marginally better players.
