What has spending cash like wild fire gotten Oregon & Miami so far? I guess it got Oregon into the playoffs, it got Miami a pop tart bowl loss lol. I don't think just writing every check you can is ever going to be a long term 100% winning strategy when it comes to winning national titles. Oregon will definitely keep doing it just because they can though. I think the Miami money will eventually get tired of losing and pull back some.

I don't care about conferences, just care about Texas. But something the SEC should do is allow intra conference transfers in the spring portal. If they really care about "Keeping Talent South", you are only hurting your members. None of the other conferences do it. Silly rule if you ask me.. but hey we aren't a real SEC schools what do I know? lol

With the ruling on the Wisconsin player recently, I feel like a player could challenge that ruling and be allowed to transfer wherever he likes

they should.. conferences banning this is dumb.. and it doesn't make them look better, they just have it's members miss out on some guys that could have actually helped some teams that represent them
