Conviently comes out right before their vote tomorrow. Looking for an excuse to vote No. Multiple cardiologist have said they are full of shit.

Birmingham local radio had a cardiologist on about a month ago and he said that a lot athletes develop this even without Covid just by a simple cold and that most cases are minor and nothing to worry about and that severe cases are very very rare and he has actually never personally seen one in his whole career

I guarantee 35-40% of the general population have myocarditis or whatever the fuck it’s called.

Why don’t they also test athletes who haven’t tested positive? Because it would prove they are full of shit
 
I bet this is still because Florida beat OSUx in the CFB NCG and BB NCG in the same season. The B1G just can't get over it.
 
So there was a ZOOM conference with Gerry Hamilton and several UT alums earlier today.. He dropped some nuggets regarding the team and recruiting. However one of the things he said that was posted was that the UT staff believed more than half of the players had Covid one time or another this year. They did the echo tests for myocarditis and not one player showed any evidence or sign of it.

Maybe the Herd immunity wasn't as bad of an idea as I initially thought it would be..NOT saying that's what they did here, obviously
 
OK, if they want to play that game and hang their hat on that as a reason to not start the season. Then how do you even start at Thanksgiving time ? What would change? Hell, how do you start at all this year until this thing is completely gone (Which it will never be completely gone). Oh and also, how do you tote around player safety when CTE has been on the scene since 2012 and you never took these extreme measures for safety.

My guess on how tomorrow's vote pans out for the B1G. Either the vote is much closer then it was before. Before was 11-3? Well I could see it being more like 8-6 tomorrow, still in favor of NO. Then the B1G can say they tried, but even after hearing everyone and relooking at it all, it's still in favor of a NO. With this the B1G hopes people just move on and look the other way about starting in Thanksgiving, and how suddenly that is so different then early October.

The other is the other way, 8-6, but in favor of playing early October. B1G changes course, aims to starting early October, but inevitably an "outbreak" will happen and numbers amongst a couple of the programs, looking at the "No" voting programs, will increase, causing great concern about being able to play safely and now the B1G has numbers and "proof" to show it is unsafe to play and will shut it down.

Either way, B1G isn't playing this Fall.

It’s all an organized thing so they don’t take as much heat as they did before when they voted no. I guarantee that Pussy Kevin Warren is orchestrating all this

Can't put all the blame on him. He is a pawn in the University President's game along with who those President's answer to.

It's all politics and since it's all politics, if I was a B1G fan in hopes of having a season, I'd expect there to be none.

It's the B1G and D's move now after they made the first move, Trump came in and basically cornered them. He looks like a hero that saved B1G football IF B1G decides to play. The Dems look bad and look as though they just pulled the curtain back and show the decision not to play for "safety" is all political, because here is Trump offering rapid tests. Right now it looks like a political win-win for Trump. Either he is the hero and they play, or the schools and B1G look like political fools and are just anti-Trump.

So what is their next move? Because of this I really see the vote going something like 8-6 in FAVOR of playing. Because they see a future move that will boomerang back against Trump right before November. They vote to play and aim for an early October start, but numbers of cases will rise, rise to a level of major concern of the season able to be played. Then they can point to Trump inserted himself, urged for football to be played, and look at the alarming rise in numbers, it was not safe and Trump put the safety of college athletes and students at risk just to try and win swing states.
 
It's funny that Penn State throws around 30-35% considering they are also saying they've only had 11 positive test amongst all student athletes since June.

What a clusterfuck. Every God damn team us going to have positive tests. The other leagues are still going to play. If the B10 doesn't get their heads out of their ass they're going to look even more ridiculous than they already do.

Start the season. If it gets shut down you can still finish it later. Its not like you HAVE to choose

I read somewhere (sorry can't remember where for the link) that 60% must be in favor of cancelling for it to be cancelled. So at least 9 schools have to vote no. Only thing I wonder is if that policy changes since there already was an earlier vote. Hope not, because all we need are 3 schools to change their vote.
 
And to top it off, where was this information coming from that there was some type of vote today? Now I am hearing there is no meeting and no vote.
