I get ESPN nailed it with The Last Dance so they wanted to keep that going but was anyone else disappointed with The Captain?

IMO the series truly mirrored Jeter's career. The guy was a robot, never said anything original, teflon image, and was overhyped
 
ESPN and media gonna suck that Jeter dick.

How many times did they say what a tremendous defensive shortstop he was?
 
As if baseball itself isn't boring enough, you expect me to watch a documentary on the most boring, say nothing, player of all time?

The most intriguing part was the "gift basket" story. The rest? Meh

The dude is so remarkable uninteresting. I dont understand how anyone could get through that doc. I cant stand the commercials for it. the commercials are supposed to have some of the more interesting teasers. there is no way I see even 10 seconds of that stupid shit.

Now, if someone wants to put on a documentary about his sexual partners, in a time line, that would be interesting.
