Chargers' Taylor had lung punctured by team doc

A Chargers team doctor accidentally punctured Tyrod Taylor's lung just before kickoff Sunday while trying to administer a pain-killing injection, leading to the quarterback missing the team's game against the Chiefs, coach Anthony Lynn told ESPN.

This is a big deal because Taylor signed a two year deal and he is on the last year. This was his big shot and in the NFL you might not get another. He will be picked up somewhere as a backup but I doubt he gets the opportunity to be a starter again.

There is no real doctors in Los Angeles, just plastic surgeons

Tyrod has got the shaft so many times during his career. They pretty well ran him out of Buffalo when he was a pretty good player, and the his wasted time with the Browns and then this.

He’s not an elite QB, but I think the dude is solid

he doesnt commit many turnovers, but the cause & effect of that is he doesnt move the ball either. (plenty of punting)
 
This feels like it could only happen to the Chargers
