If I recall correctly, Cumberland had ended their football program, and Georgia Tech would not release them from a commitment to play, so Cumberland assembled a group of students willing to fulfill this commitment. Georgia Tech’s football team ran roughshod over this hapless assembly.

I'm guessing the MWC becomes the PAC 14.

It wouldn't be unusual since the MWC only has a 24 year history from it's members breaking from the WAC in 1999.

Regardless of it's members, the PAC will still have a bigger name than the MWC until the Boomers and Gen Xers are pushing up daisies.
