Man, I'm gonna say something that sounds like blasphemy, but at 23, Luka is every bit as good as Magic, Bird and LBJ were at the same age. I can't put him over MJ and don't know where he will end up all time, but as a 23 year old, he's top 5 to me

Bagel Bites are great
What he did last night was absolutely filthy. Hes incredible. Still to be proven if what he brings translates to winning playoff basketball but the entire skillset is there to be one of the all time greatsMan, I'm gonna say something that sounds like blasphemy, but at 23, Luka is every bit as good as Magic, Bird and LBJ were at the same age. This is the biggest thing. His high usage rate is not standard for today's play, which inflates his stats to a degree. But still what he's doing is outrageous. What he did last night was absolutely filthy. Hes incredible. If he doesn't win multiple championships I would blame the organization a lot more than himThis is the biggest thing. His high usage rate is not standard for today's play, which inflates his stats to a degree. But still what he's doing is outrageous.
We saw James Harden put up insane numbers too for a stretch, but it never amounted to anything.
Imagine if Lebron was in Chicago, Miami or LA for his first 7 years…that’s why championships matter but only so much you can do. Obviously, when we are talking about the top 5-10 players of all-time though, they matter more. I hope Dallas can get that 1b player but with their cap and all those “bad” contracts it doesn’t seem very likely. LaVine is a possibilityIf he doesn't win multiple championships I would blame the organization a lot more than him
If Luka goes the LBJ route and hand picks good situations there is no telling how many he winsImagine if Lebron was in Chicago, Miami or LA for his first 7 years…that’s why championships matter but only so much you can do. Well it's called FA and if Dallas doesn't do all they can they I wouldn't blame him for leaving. LBJ had nothing around him for years and he was carrying that team.If Luka goes the LBJ route and hand picks good situations there is no telling how many he wins
IMO, they don't need another superstar #2. They need great shooters and a legit big shot blocker/rebounder. The deal they made a few years back, giving up Seth Curry in the Jason Richardson deal...holy crap what are we doing??Well it's called FA and if Dallas doesn't do all they can they I wouldn't blame him for leaving. That also can backfire, FA doesn't always work in your favor. The situation from far away that seems nice isn't what it seems. I would suggest for him to stay in Dallas and push the FO in the next 1-2 years to go all-in...easier said than done.
Christian Wood looks like he's working out really well for you guys. I thought that was a steal for Dallas in the off-season. Dinwiddie is a really good player, but I think he's best served as a #3/4 guy on a real contender.IMO, they don't need another superstar #2.
