The first "rated" movie I went to. First time I ever heard of rated movies. We were living in Lake Charles at the time and was up here for the weekend. Friend and I went to get in but the man said no, we had to be 18.Why? Because it's restricted (R) and you have to be 18 or with an adult. So we went back to his house and his mom asked why we were back. Wouldn't let us in without an adult. We told her it was a western and the name of the movie. She wrote a note and signed it and we took it to the man. He said ok. Small towns. You gotta luv'em. Opened this 15 year old eyes. WOW.
Just after I got my DL and the first time I had to show it for age ID! Good times!
