The entire playoff committee needs to be drawn & disemboweled

You're going by resume instead of eye test. Committee uses eye test as the 1st factor before going into anything else.

The SOS, common opponents, H2H, is only when the eye test fails to differentiate.
When they finally lose a game they will have failed the eye test. They already have ... that's why there have been 3-5 one loss teams ahead of them.

BTW, if you really are buying into the "eye test" thing, I am laughing at you. Do you really think these idiots are sitting in the room and going, okay, per they "eye test" who do you got for no. 1, no. 2. They have no idea what they are doing. For example, do you really think PSU gets the eye test over some of the 2 loss SEC teams. Nah, they have a better record, end discussion.

Hasn't worked for UGA so far.
At the end of the day, we will have to win the game.

But, if you don't think what the Committee is doing won't change how things go forward, you aren't thinking straight. I can tell you the SEC will not go to 8 games unless ESPN offers a billion, and even then probably not. And you won't see any more good OOC being scheduled, that's for sure. We have the following:

2025 - @UCLA (Canceled)
2026 - @Louisville, UCLA (Canceled)
2027 - @FSU, Louisville
2028 - FSU
2029 - @Clemson
2030 - Clemson, tOSU
2031 - @tOSU
2032 - Clemson
2033 - @Clemson, NCState
2034 - @NCState

We will drop one of those games in 2027, and certainly drop at least one in 2030. Same in 2033. Especially with GaTech on our schedule, no way we agree to keep playing that OOC. There is no value to it.

Also, there won't be a Committee in 2026 if they keep this up, and the SEC wins the games (that is a big caveat ... do this much complaining, you better win when you get in).

If they lose close to OSU, they haven't failed the eye test.

Why do you think Miami is behind some of these 2 loss teams? Or a 1-loss SMU/BYU?

Miami hasn't beaten anyone in the CFP top 25. Their best win is... Duke? Alabama has beaten Georgia and South Carolina. Georgia has beaten Texas, Clemson, and Tennessee. BYU lost to a 4-6 Kansas team. The most points Oklahoma State scored this season in BIG XII play... against BYU. I don't need eyes to see that. If someone read this info to me, or I read Braille (due to being blind), I could come to a reasonable conclusion like BYU beating SMU at SMU's place.

All these factors above are concrete. Eye test, not so much.

My God, did you guys see ole Miss beat Georgia? That was incredible!! Unbelievable even! Better than that, can you believe Georgia had to play Ole Miss? That was an incredible task! Unbelievable even! I can’t do anything except make both teams go up in the polls. Anything else would be ridiculous. These teams played each other! Incredible! Inconceivable to make either drop after that.

I remember 2014 when people couldn’t wait to cup the balls of the SEC. 14 of the most talented teams to hit the field in multiple generations. NO ONE WAS GOING TO BEAT THIS CONFERENCE OF LITERAL SUPERHEROES! Then bowl season came and the playoff and eh.

I think some teams that were previously in front of them lost. I bet that helped the cause.

I know right!!! That was epic!!! I can't remember what happened in the following years. I know it has something to do with Alabama, Georgia, and even LSU.

There's only 2 power conferences, and the ACC/BigXII are much closer to the G5 than the P2. The sooner they realize that, the better.

Just win man. Stop crying about a 2 loss team being ranked below undefeated Indiana. It will all work itself out.

Georgia dropped after losing. THATS FUCKING CRAZY!!! They should have went up to #1.

Ha! Ha! They had a Bad Bowl year in 2014. Happens. Meanwhile, this century, Alabama has 3 BCS Championships + 3 CFP Championships, LSU has 2 BCS Championships + 1 CFP Championship, and Georgia has 2 CFP Championships. Hardly compares to Ohio State's 1 BCS + 1 CFP + Michigan's 1 CFP. But they had a bad Bowl year in 2014!

I obviously meant 9 games. And, no, they didn't. But as good as the ratings are this year, they will offer more money. Otherwise, we will stay at 8. We already have far tougher schedules that the B1G ... no need to make it more difficult.

He doesn't know what the "eye test" is; he just keeps saying it over and over, sort of like the Nebraska guy kept saying broadcasting over and over.

Still got to play the games every year. Nobody is rewarding you for 5 years ago.

So true, and I agree.
I think the SEC reps will do better than the B1G reps this year, home, away or neutral.
Looking forward to it.
