The entire playoff committee needs to be drawn & disemboweled

Just win man. Stop crying about a 2 loss team being ranked below undefeated Indiana. It will all work itself out.
Dude, in a discussion about CFP rankings, it's not crying to point out the fact that one conference plays far more difficult schedules. And that IU hasn't played a winning team this year, etc. Those are simple, undeniable facts that should factor into rankings and when they don't people are going to discuss them. As I said above, those of us who feel the Committee is sucking hind tit will have the opportunity to prove it in a month or so. If we lose, the Committee will be right. But if the SEC dominates the B1G again, then the Committee will have some 'splaining to do.

I have no idea how you got me mixed up with Indiana. I don’t think any of my posts in this thread have me saying Indiana anywhere.

In the B1G's defense -- they are the reigning National Champions, so it wouldn't be dominating them again. Just don't ask how the reigning National Champions are doing this year.

We will drop one of those games in 2027, and certainly drop at least one in 2030. Same in 2033. Especially with GaTech on our schedule, no way we agree to keep playing that OOC. There is no value to it.
I screamed this from the mountaintops last year on here and it was met with people saying our school will take on all comers and they will continue to schedule big OOC matchups because the networks want them.

It makes no sense for teams in the B1G and SEC to play ANYONE OOC. Every OOC should be a cupcake, as their conference schedules are going to be brutal. You may have a one off year, where you get lucky in your OOC play and miss top teams, but the vast majority of the time, you are going to have to play 3-4 top teams.

The only schools who need the OOC games are those in the other conferences who don't have to face a gauntlet of top football schools in conference.

Exactly who I'm talking about. They have played no one, which is my point that the playoff committee doesn't care about SOS.
I'd throw Texas, Penn State, Notre Dame, & Miami all in this boat.
Well it impresses them more than losing to Arkansas or Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt would be top 4 in the Big 10 this season.

You got the 12 team bloated playoffs you all wanted and are still bitching about how it is ranked.

Of course the rankings won't make everyone happy and for sure some bad team will find their way in on a weak resume.

Will probably happen every year.

And yes it will lead to teams scheduling less SoS in OOC. This was discussed going into it and most of you thought it didn't matter as long as it meant more postseason matchups.

You got what you asked for so what are you bitching about?

At least wait for the end of the first full playoff before deciding on whether or not it should have gone down differently.

Win and you are in. When you lose look within. The playoffs will handle frauds.

Nonsense. Committee is a group of experts.

You didn't even know Navy had 3 losses

A group of experts? Warde Manuel is an expert?

Let's predict the next season CFP committee catch phrase. We have been through "game control" and "eye test".

I am going with "best sideline presence".
"strongest intangibles"

What do you predict happens?
Well Indiana will play tOSU and face an actual good team, and then the CCG's will happen so each P4 will end up seeing two top teams go head to head.

The closeness of the win will be the difference between being in, or being 10th or 11th. They certainly have nothing to hang their hat on if they lose.
I think Indiana and Texas are similar EXCEPT, if Texas loses to A&M they are out. If Indiana loses a close game to Ohio State they are in.

The interesting thing is how ccg losers get treated compared to similar teams that played one less game.

Vanderbilt lost to a team currently 0-6 in the Sun Belt and 2-8 overall.

Exactly this shit of pretending like Vandy is some legit team is hilarious. They are better than the train wreck Vandy teams we have seen over the years but they still can legit lose to any team.
