i believe 2000 years from now will be much different. obviously homes on the moon and maybe mars is very doable.

i can't ever believe in time travel unless there is some issue to keep people from traveling back to the current.... (why would WWI WWII or 9/11 happen if we could in the future) but then again if marty mcfly stopped 9/11 then they wouldn't have flown back to 9/11 to stop it.

Who is they?

Where would our military and intelligence be without those?

Would man have walked on the moon without those two 20th Century wars? Would there be a Rover on Mars? Would the Hubble or Webb telescopes exist?

Would I be replying to you at our other border from a handheld porn machine I can communicate with?

we clearly can't do it now...so any time travel would have to be "they" future people.
