GAME The Game: Michigan @ #2 The Ohio State | Noon EST on Fox

Vrabel should be their #1 target. His name alone should recruit and he can coach.

Campbell is from Ohio and can coach talent up. He should want to get out of the B12 now.

Fickell is struggling at Wisconsin but his roster he inherited was not good.
Vrabel has repeatedly said he wants nothing to do with the college game. I've been a supporter for Day up until this point. This was a game that should have been over by half with the talent level difference in heavy favor OSU. Heck, scUM was playing without their two key players. This is unacceptable. What I slowly have learned about Ryan Day is, he talks a big game, and when it comes down to a critical game vs a big rival or a playoff opponent, he plays to not lose the game. It's like he's scared and second guesses himself. His teams never play loose. Today, offense playcalling was horrific and as the game continued, he was playing very tight. Does that make sense?
Here is where I stand today, before I make a knee-jerk reaction on a coaching change, I need to see how the rest of season plays out.
As far as a coaching search goes, who is available and who has the credentials to take on a very high pressure job at The Ohio State? They have to nail the hire because if they don't, it could set yhem back further. There is a lot to digest here.
Now I'm going to finish my bottle of moonshine to smooth out the kick in the nuts that happened on the field today.

Days biggest problem is that he’s stuck on stubborn trying to prove certain things. He will keep doing the same thing that obviously doesn’t work just because he wants it to work. That’s a bad coach.

I don’t think Stoops ever won a big game after the 2000 season. That was an ironic nickname
I mean he won 100 conference titles. He owned texas. In home and home series he swept Alabama, Tennessee, Oregon, UCLA, Washington, Miami, and Florida State, Split series with Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Bowl wins vs Oregon, Stanford, Florida State, Iowa, and Alabama.

He played in 4 National Championship games. I don't know what more you wanted from the guy.

He lost to Oregon, try again.

Bowl games are meaningless, he got his shit pushed in in big games that mattered.

44-1 against other B10 teams
1-4 against Michigan

LOL at Ryan Day

I kinda like that Ohio State can go win a national title in the 12 team playoff. Imagine the fun I'd get to have if Ohio State loses to us and wins a national title.

When this site started, it was a near consensus opinion that Harbaugh was overrated and a bad hire by Michigan

A national title and four wins against Ohio State later..

Day winning the title would assure he would be back next year and that would be glorious for you.

I think the most under rated thing that this did was provide Moore the jumpstart he was missing. Prior to this, people were questioning his job year one. That's over now. Totally removed. Full steam ahead with NIL

Vrabel has publicly stated that he hates recruiting and doesn’t want to do it. That’s a disaster in the making
In this day and age it is going to take a different breed of cat that WANTS TO deal with recruiting, NIL and transfer portal.
