The Haunting is a Netflix anthology series that explores a different location each season.

The first season premiered a couple years ago on Friday, October 12, 2018 and was an adaptation of Shirley Jackson's 1959 novel The Haunting of Hill House.

Season 2 is upcoming and set to debut on Friday, October 9, 2018. It will adapt Henry James's classic 1898 horror novel The Turn of the Screw, but use the title The Haunting of Bly Manor. Season 2 teaser trailer:

Finished it last night, the ending was changed from what it was originally supposed to be. At the very end when everyone is having their happy ending moment; 2 year sobriety, marriage reconciles, marriage confession, move in with lesbo GF, the final shots at the end that were cut was a slow pan out to reveal the red room window, implying they were all dead or at least still trapped by the house.
