The Last Duel will be released on Friday, October 15, 2021. Directed by Ridley Scott, it is based on the real-life 1386 trial by combat, to the death, involving the French knights Jean de Carrouges (Matt Damon) and Jacques Le Gris (Adam Driver) and Jean's wife Marguerite de Carrouges (Jodie Comer):

This movie is now appearing on iTunes. Any opinions?

It's like $20 though. It releases on blu ray and everything on the 14th so I'm hoping at that point the price to rent it will drop to the typical $4 or $5 instead. Then I will watch it.

Oh same here. It goes from $20 purchase to $5.99 rental in no time. No way I'm paying that.

Just watched it and I really liked it.

I would just love more movies in general from this time period.

I'd probably out this as the best movie of the year but I still need to see Licorice Pizza and The Tragedy of Macbeth.

Already heard the audio version. Dude gets hit by a car as he's going for his gun at the end. Sorry for the spoiler.
