The NFC East Thread

Giants look to be headed to the cellar. Skins don't look a lot better, but have better weapons. There is a big gap between the top 2 and bottom 2 in the NFCE.

yep, they pretty much have just Barkley... and their OL is hurting. I do think Jones has played better this year, but there just isn't much on that offense to work with.

they've won a lot of close games this year. All of their wins have been by 8 points or less, and they're getting outgained on the season (5.1 YPP to 5.8 YPP).

Philadelphia 10-1
Dallas 8-3
New York 7-4
Washington 7-5

Dallas opening at 17.5 favorites over the Texans. Tempted to load up on Houston to cover that one.

well we often make games closer than they need to be.
That's my thinking as well. HOU will want this game because they could win it and still have the worst record, no tanking for this in-state game. Don't see a way they win without a major injury to Dallas, but could see them keeping it within 3 scores.

Houston has been giving away lots of points with turnovers for easy scores.

But I expected the Eagles to cover two touchdowns against them and they didn't though.

Don't see myself betting on this point spread.

1. Philadelphia 12-1 Clinched a playoff spot.
2. Dallas 10-3
3. Washington 7-5-1
3. New York 7-5-1

Lions and Jaguars with easy wins over first place teams...

The entire division would be in the playoffs as of now.

And they all have better records than the Bucs, who lead the NFC South.

Where's @Handicappers

On Nov 15 he was trying to convince me, in all his vastly superior "NFL knowledge", that the NY football Giants were something the Eagles were supposed to be concerned about. Something about "footsteps" en sech

My thoughts were for the 2nd half of the season.
The Giants & the Seahawks couldnt hold up their pace & would fall off.
