The NFC East Thread

Vikings are in first. They beat the packers. Their only loss is to the eagles.
Jaguars are in first. They beat their two previous opponents a combined 62-10.
Lions have the top ranked offense so far.

Which of these three teams have a pulse?

Hm.

Detroit has the NFL's #1 offense. The Jaguars are putting together a decent program and will finish better than .500 this season. Washington sucks, no doubt there. Minnesota seems to be sucking, but it's not f*cking nothing that this Eagles team completely and entirely shut down arguably the league's best WR, and one of the top 5 RBs.

I get it. The Eagles schedule hasn't been top tier, no argument there. But this team is performing extremely well, on both sides of the ball, with a really well assembled roster. To the original point, the Eagles front office, and specifically Howie Roseman, are among the top tier and highest regarded front offices in the League. Virtually any talking head, columnist, other GMs/Owners agrees. There's a ton of respect around the league for the Eagles executives. Which is why you were properly called out for your retarded assertion of our "idiot FO".

Moreover, Jalen Hurts is playing incredible football this season. He's shown a lot of commitment, and a willingness to improve weaknesses. If he gets a huge contract (at this pace, it's likely), he will have earned it. Meanwhile, you root for a team that did EXACTLY what you purport the Eagles *might* do, which is to give a ludicrously generous contract to a ludicrously mediocre QB who may not even be the best fit to run the current offensive scheme on his team.

Again, football might not be your thing. It's ok.

Are you PE1's DACA orphan?

Eagles are currently 2nd in the NFC in SoS. 5th in the NFL.
Wow. That’s interesting. Also only four games in, but still. Cream puff schedule on paper, but you have to play the games. New season, new teams.

I can’t buy the aspect we have played teams with no pulse….but…..again….four weeks.

This feels like so much of a more valid discussion around week 10-12 than now.

PE1 used to suck off Roseman too.

You think Hurts will be the AMVP?
I think, at his current pace and given his willingness to adapt and improve, Hurts' ceiling isn't even known yet.

So you don't think Hurts is in the MVP race? I mean, he's 4-0 and has an All World #1 FO.

Yeah, we'll have a much better idea in a month or so. Jags lost to the Clit Commanders week 1, but shutout the Colts and blew the Chargers out on the road. Lions are 1-3 but all three losses have been by less than a TD. Vikes are 3-1 but they've won two games by 4 or less.

I didn't say that I don't think he's in the MVP race.

I feel like all that is missing is you telling us about Almost MVP's on the team.

You told me NOTHING.
Face it. All that you are doing is crying.
MOMMY - Why is the Eagles schedule so easy? MOMMY.

Quit crying.
Not crying at all. Pointing out that they haven't been tested yet. They will get a chance in two weeks.

None. Thanks for making my point. None of those three will make the playoffs.

For sure. That's been my point all along, y'all homers just don't like anything that isn't sucking the dick of every Eagle player and personnel. I said Jalen is "beating up on bad teams" and it turned into you thinking Amari was our #1 WR that we had to cut due to cap reasons and all sorts of other nonsense.

Y'all Eagle fans sure are a bitchy bunch.

It’s like that on every board known in the history of intrawebs

Right.

Because Cowboys fans are such a classy, rational bunch. GTFO

Come on now….I didn’t make any comment towards Amari. Though….I get what that comment was getting at. You guys had to clear cap issues this off-season. For me the more telling one you let go was Gregory, since he has been doing well for Denver.

I won’t even care to get into the weeds on this, because, four weeks in you guys are showing to come out of that cap hell mess better then I expected.

But….four weeks in….can’t tell much about much yet.
