The Odd Couple Monday

First Coach Pitch game tonight. I don't have too high hopes that it goes well. We play the other team in town and I'm assuming they have the older team as only 2 of Grand's teammates last year are on his team. Think only 2 moved up to Farm League/Farmettes so the rest have to be our opponents tonight. Seems about right since our HC & my dad were 2 of the vocal ones about last year's coach screwing stuff up. I quietly mumbled into my hands a few times.

Survived the dance recital. Glad Lil W goes to the non serious one. I can sit through the 1-1.5hr program. Couldn't do the other places that are 3-4 hrs.

Does anyone know where that guy is? I think I remember he lost a lot in a hurricane, but I don't remember much after that.

Is he on Eurohoop, or did he just go radio silent?

I think he popped in once for a quick "fuck you" to everyone, then bailed again

every fucking business i deal with today. get an email from the vet about overdue health service. get an automated message that I caught them between their normal operating hours. It's fucking 1400 and your open. fucking worthless.

I'm still got my old SNES system and some games, but no boxes. I frikken loved Ken Griffey Jr baseball and a few other games, so I've kept it.

I think you have to hook the system up to an old TV because the new TVs stretch the screen, making already the aged graphics look really bad.

One of those boxes looks like it might be Diddy Kong Racing, which was fun as hell. I also liked Mario Golf.

I still have my old SNES in the basement...and the box it came in.

I have a couple games, but no boxes.

with the boxes, some of those are worth some money...and they all look pretty mint.

I just realized it's not SNES that I have - it's a N64.

Yeah, I might agree. I was a wizard at 007 Goldeneye multiplayer.

I liked PlayStation as well. Those were the last consoles that I played a lot. Maybe PS2 as well. I pretty well stopped playing video games at that point. I played a lot of a Tiger Woods golf game and NHL hockey on the PS machines.

the introduction to 4 player gaming was just awesome.

Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Goldeneye...they had so many great games

I have an NES and SNES...and one of those NES minis I hacked, so it has all the NES games on it.

yeah, just realized my brother gave me a mini NES thing that I think just has a raspberry pi in it with all of the NES games (and I think some other systems, never used it, because I wasn't sure how to set up a controller other than one that plugs into it). Also not sure how or if it can save progress.

Weekend went too fast, Saturday went to Wisconsin to help with my FIL's place. I helped move a couch in, but his house and doorway is so small we had to take front door off. Couch got a minor a tear in process, my MIL was annoyed. Sorry, we're not professional movers. Then I mowed the lawn, organized and cleaned up his office area, put new air filter into his lawn mower, then drove home. I'm not sure what I did was worth driving 6 hours for and could've probably hired someone for less than we paid in gas to do what I did, but oh well

After posting about Diddy Kong, I watched a YouTube video of the game. Seems like it's definately related to Mario Kart - similar stuff, but Diddy Kong also had planes, which I dug.
