Depends if you are talking the NFL or College. NFL -- yes. College -- no.
Not much of an issue anymore ... Suburban Meyer is a little unstable ... Meyer did an excellent job at ohio state and a good handoff to Ryan Day, but I would not want Meyer to be my coach.

My top two choices -- Mike Hart and Josh Gattis.
Keep the staff in place, keep most of the players in place, and give a young up and coming coach a shot (in both cases). I still have a little PTSD from Lloyd leaving, us hiring Rich Rod and then the whole culture imploding on itself. Which is Michigan's problem; we aren't able to have searches like everyone else. 75% of our coaching staff has Michigan ties. Hart I think would be more of a risk because he's still pretty young for a head coach and hasn't ever been an OC or DC.
