Other than Nix being way too high, I don’t hate this. I could quibble about some spots, but I think this is directionally correct.

QB proficiency has a lot to do with environment - what leadership and support does the QB have to work with?

Tom Brady had no wheels. He didn't have a strong arm. What he did have was a the perfect coaching and system for him to prosper and a strong offensive line that gave him time to work games and a good defense that kept them in every game. If the Browns would've drafted him instead, he's probably just the next Eric Zeier.

On the flipside, Dan Marino didn't have much to work with for support, but still got his team into the playoffs every year because he was THAT good.

With that in mind, put Jalen Hurts in Las Vegas behind that turnstile offensive line, minimal offensive weapons and defensive support. Is he still perceived as a top-5 QB? Hell no! The Raiders are still drafting in the top 10 this year.

Now put Justin Herbert in Philly with that elite OL, D and all those offensive weapons. Herbert is SB MVP.

There is a clutch gene that Hurts has that Herbert does not.

Jalen inherited a team that won 4 games (one of which belonged to him invisible limited rookie season starts) and then immediately made the playoffs.

LEGEND: Jalen Hurts is one of 5 QBs in #NFL history to win 50+ games and be Super Bowl MVP in his first 75 starts.

Hurts joins legends Patrick Mahomes, Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, and Tom Brady.

Weird. Mahomes, Montana, Staubach and Brady all played for legendary coaches in their prime, landed in the perfect system for their talents and were surrounded by strong support. You're proving my point while trying to refute my point.

Why didn't Steve Young have the same type of success when he was in Tampa as he did in San Francisco?

Why didn't Minshew and Pickett have the same level of success as Jalen Hurts when filling in on the same roster and coaching staff?

Why didnt Mac Jones when replacing Brady under that same HC and roster?

Because a good system doesn’t make a shit QB good, but it can make a good QB great.

He is the system. Different OC every year since he left high school with the exception of two years with Shane Steichen.

Take Saquon out of that offense and he goes back to a mediocre QB.

Chiefs basically did take Saquon out of the equation and Hurts just proceeded to outplay Mahomes in a 2nd Super Bowl enroute to winning Super Bowl MVP.

If Saquon wasn’t on the team, they wouldn’t have made it to the Super Bowl at all.

And be honest, your defense outplayed Mahomes and tired out the Chiefs defense because he couldn’t keep the offense on the field long enough to get any rest.

Not sure that first part is true. Their offensive line is so dominant that a pretty good running back is going to have plenty success. Obviously having a great running back helps.

Saquon got twice as many yards as Deandre Swift got last season

Doesn't look too bad, you are gonna catch heat about Dak but I can make the case for where he is.
Darnold might be too low, need another season. Stroud I think should be above Dak, but his stats really don't back that up.
Love I think will move up, probably a few spots too low right now. And I have no idea what to think of Purdy. I think he is finally showing who he really is when he doesn't have CMac and a defense to carry him with checkdowns.

No offseason or training camp to acclimate.

I think Brock is about where he should be. His biggest issue in 2024 was his receivers couldn’t get any separation. The only guy on the team that was above average in separation was Kittle. Deebo was near the bottom of the league (plus he had some absolute killer drops). That made Brock try to force throws he shouldn’t. A healthy Aiyuk and a bus ticket for Deebo should improve things for him.
