Movie The Passion of the Christ 2: Resurrection (2024)

I wouldn't let her hog my lock screen.

truthfully, its supposed to be his 3 days in Hell and the time from resurrection to ascension.

so basically, going forth, everyone's idea of Hell will come from the mind of Mel Gibson

I highly doubt this film is going to get even one tenth of the traction the first one did and a significant factor in that is Mel Gibson.

"Three days in hell?"

What?

Jesus gets married?
Nah, man... That would be a happy marriage. Jesus knows how to treat a bitch. And he's so smooth that he'd have to push her mouth away from his cock out of orgasmal fatigue.

So reading bout this Jesus came back for 40 days when he resurrected? That's wild. I always assumed he came back for like one day, saw some people and then peaced out. 40 days though is a lot. What the hell was he doing? Why wasn't he crucified again?

You flunk catechism. Feast of the Ascension, 40 days after the Resurrection. UFOs came down and picked him up.

Didn’t he join the Sea Org? So he is 2,000 years into his 1,000,000 year contract.

Plenty at stake in this one.

The cross-dressing scene's a shocker.

I watch movies to be entertained and the original was a huge downer. Won't watch the second.

It was certainly not an entertaining movie. But it wasn’t trying to be.

I am an athiest (maybe agnostic?), so I wasnt watching “my Lord”. I was just watching a depiction of the story told to/by those followers. Watching it as SciFi or a ”what if…” story allowed me to appreciate it immensely. I don’t ever want to see it again. No need. But I am glad I saw it once, in a theater.
