Conference championship versus a non-conference championship. Oregon would also be beating a team that had beaten them, which would go well for their loss at Utah.

Oh and there is the win AT Ohio State without Oregon's best defensive players.
The only loss worse than Oregon's 31 point loss to Utah is their loss to a 3 win Stanford. Ohio State has a better shot of getting to the CFP than Oregon and they don't even play this weekend.

As I stated before, beating the team that beat you before does mitigate things.

It doesn't mitigate anything -- playing the same team only hurts Oregon's chances, especially since the team they are playing is a 3 loss Utah. The other part that doesn't help Oregon is -- every other team is playing a team that is 12-0, 11-1 or 10-2.

Oregon has as much of a chance to get into the CFP as Texas.
