Is Oregon in the playoff yet?
I've read most of this thread and am convinced it is a formality at this point. So I'll say "yes"Is Oregon in the playoff yet?
I knew @OregonDucks had this nailed.I've read most of this thread and am convinced it is a formality at this point. So I'll say "yes"
The only loss worse than Oregon's 31 point loss to Utah is their loss to a 3 win Stanford. Ohio State has a better shot of getting to the CFP than Oregon and they don't even play this weekend.Conference championship versus a non-conference championship. Oregon would also be beating a team that had beaten them, which would go well for their loss at Utah.
Oh and there is the win AT Ohio State without Oregon's best defensive players.
As I stated before, beating the team that beat you before does mitigate things. The only loss worse than Oregon's 31 point loss to Utah is their loss to a 3 win Stanford. Ohio State has a better shot of getting to the CFP than Oregon and they don't even play this weekend.
It doesn't mitigate anything -- playing the same team only hurts Oregon's chances, especially since the team they are playing is a 3 loss Utah. The other part that doesn't help Oregon is -- every other team is playing a team that is 12-0, 11-1 or 10-2.As I stated before, beating the team that beat you before does mitigate things.
