If I am paying for prime rib, and crab, it will be high quality, and not the shit that wasnt good enough to charge for individually. If prime rib and crab are on a buffet, its either shit, or you are paying so much, that you might as well go to a real establishment and eat good stuff.

It's kind of hard to fuck up on all you can eat crab legs. If you don't like what's on your plate just go back and get more.

Belaggio had the feel that they were trying to slide low quality shit in whereas Aria didn't. Both are like 40 which I usually get one comped anyway so the wife and I do it for 40 plus drinks and tips. I'm not getting that for anywhere near 40 bucks for the two of us anywhere.

As Pete said if it's bullshit you're going to be pissed. I roll the dice because I get one free generally. But like I said I was disappointed in Belaggio the last time.

I got a free buffet ticket at the Horseshoe in Tunica a few years ago. Hostess gave it to me on the blackjack table when she saw me throwing down black chips. It was around 10 pm.

Went down there the next day all excited to use it and they say "this comp expired yesterday"

WTF!

My wife buys crab legs at Sams club and makes them at home and I think that's a delicacy.

Sorry I'm not as refined as you and your friends.
 
After working in kitchens, I cant bring myself to eat at a buffet. Everything is made is 200 gallon barrels, and trays are stacked in the back in heated racks for hours. When they bring "fresh" trays out, guess what, they were made at the same time as the old trays. No matter how "high end" the buffet, its low end food.
