Last time we were supposed to play Mizzou they bailed

Time before that 7-5 Iowa handed 10-2 Mizzou their jocks in a bowl game

That was all after Mizzou canceled out on a home and home we had scheduled with them a few decades back

Come on....handed their jocks? I remember that bowl game. Blaine Gabbert threw for like 450 yards but with Mizzou up 24-20 at the Iowa 30 yard line he threw a horrific INT that was ran back for a TD (with the aid of a hold or block in the back if I remember) but it was a crazy run back....he ran like sideways across the field and up the sideline. I think an Iowa RB ran for like 200 yards. Iowa won 27-24.

I do remember cancelling the Iowa series...don't remember why they did it.

In 2020 the Music City bowl was cancelled because Mizzou didn't have enough players due to Covid
